Datetime feature¶

If you enable the auto date/time feature, Power BI Desktop creates private Date tables in the background. Power BI creates a Date table per column with either Date or DateTime data type regardless of whether we need to analyse them or not.

This can cause serious performance and storage issues. To disable this feature, just reverse back the auto date/time feature settings.
